A unique slide The Trax HRD Carbon retains its shape for 2020 with its typical HRD rails and its slender outline, but it would benefit from a new carbon construction making it even lighter. The trax displays a weight of 3.90kg fully equipped. The decor has also been updated. The color of the latter changes with each size. When sailing, the Trax Carbon immediately stands out with its fairly unique natural glide. The start to planing is of a fluidity and an appreciable ease. Properly wedged in its direction, this F-One accelerates strongly and is nervous and reactive. It is a fast board which offers an easy and efficient ascent upwind coupled with a particularly healthy chop passage. Indeed, one is pleasantly surprised by its softness and its ease to pass the bumps. It likes long full speed edges and its construction sends energy well while also soliciting legs. The grip is not as natural as on other shapes, but once you have taken the hit, there is no problem. After an effective notching, the pop is simply explosive to fly in the air. Then, the lightness of the board would almost surprise. The maneuverability felt is only better and the rotations facilitated, with less inertia. In receptions, the Trax is tolerant of edge faults, but it remains a little firmer than the average. This is the flip side of his nervousness. This carbon version, very efficient, is still quite demanding physically. In short, the Trax HRD Carbon is not aging this year. It remains ultra competitive on the high-end Freeride / Freestyle niche thanks to its unparalleled glide, its passage in choppy conditions and its maneuverability. Its reactive and nervous behavior as well as its pop and speed on the water make it a complete and efficient board for sport riders who like strong sensations and big air. For a more peaceful and comfortable navigation, the Lite tec version is recommended. gliding, choppy passage, maneuverability, nervousness, pop, accelerations, speed a little more physically demanding
