These CPL-boards are made in Germany and are also really handcrafted in a very well experienced company. This company have an extremely high expert knowledge since many years on the sector of fibre composite. The boards of the CPL-Line are optimized in the little board-weight and also in the awesome riding performances. These CPL-boards can't manufacture in a low-wage country.

It took us lots of prototypes to get this shape riding without any spray. Only Spleene has managed it to make this shape riding without any spray. The rails of Carbon Pro Door in combination with the concave outline is the secret.
No other twintip board provides so much fun and performance at ultra light winds. The combination of the flat scoop, the big surface, the concave outline and the ultra light weight makes kiteboarding possible, where others just hope for more wind.

The Carbon Pro Line Monster Door is hand crafted with a very special multi-layered Carbon lattice. This non woven Carbon is especially produced for Spleene. There are 3 layers: – One layer with the strongest roving in 0° to give the board the requested stiffness and flex; – One layer in +27,5° and another layer in -27,5°to avoid torsion and produce a very responsive board with only 2450 gr. All layers are fixed with a very thin seam to avoid moving during laminating process. The advantage of a multi-layered Carbon lattice is that you do not have the waves in the rovings like you have at woven fabrics. In the multi-layered Carbon lattice the rovings are straight oriented to the tension to enable the Carbon work in the best possible way.
The Carbon laminate of the Carbon Pro Line Monster Door is hand crafted at a high end level. You can easily see this at the visible structure of the Carbon rovings on top side of the board, because of the very little usage of Epoxy resin in order to save weight. Only with a maximum vacuum and the knowledge how much Epoxy resin must be injected into the fibres such dry laminates are achievable. The uneven surface is the proof and not a defect for high end handcraft.
The base side of the Carbon Pro Line Monster Door is wet grinded with very fine and waterproof sandpaper to create a shark skin like surface. This reduces drag, gives more speed and better gliding performance. A high glossy look at the base side would have been much easier for us to produce. Only very skilled workers can produce such a constant surface.
All Spleene Boards are produced with a form-glued, CNC-milled woodcore. The woodcore has PU rails and reinforced fin- and insert positions.
The Carbon Pro Line Boards are designed with CAD. This enables us to explore the performance of a board in advance. We can check the weight while shaping the core. With this feature you can directly see if the board gets heavier or lighter when you modify the 3D-shape. We were able to reduce the weight by 45% in total by this. Moreover we can test the flex of the board and its stability. To check that we use the FEM (Finite Element Method) in our 3D-CAD system. At the picture you can see what happens if you put lots more load to the board than you will ever do in kiteboarding.
The woodcore and the final body of Carbon Pro Line Boards are cut by a huge CNC machine. This guarantees a high performance kiteboard. The deviation is less than 0,001mm!!
All insert positions are reinforced in the woodcore. The inserts are glued with a special glue before lamination process.
After testing lots of prototypes we found out that a single concave button works best with our ultra light Carbon construction. The very special multi-layered Carbon lattice gives the board now a superb performance. The concave is deeper in the centre of the board than in the tips for better turning.
The concave outline is responsible for the enormous upwind performance. The waterway is longer and so you have less drift. The flex in the board is creating a geometry that let the Door always facing towards upwind.
